Get to Know the “Film Director”
The film director holds the highest responsibility in controlling film production and serves as the central link in translating ideas and imagination from the script into a film.
A director conveys their vision and selects every component according to their intentions by studying the script in detail and understanding the actors. They oversee all processes on set, both visuals and sound. Each director may have a different working approach, as there is no single theory for directing.
Some directors can choose team members in various departments independently, without the producer’s involvement, as long as the production budget is acceptable.
Compensation is based on the number of films directed and a percentage of the film’s revenue.
