Applications Open for Scholarships for the Academic Year 2024

Required Documents:

• Application form
• 1-inch photo (glued to the application form)
• Transcript (1 copy, certified)
• ID card of the student and guardian (1 copy each, certified)
• House registration of the student and guardian (1 copy each, certified)
• Income certification from the guardian (1 copy, certified)
• ID card/civil servant ID of the income certifier (1 copy, certified)
• Certification of student behavior from an academic advisor
• Portfolio of work or documents proving participation in volunteer work with the faculty and university

Application Submission:

• Applications are available on the Faculty's Facebook Fanpage or in person at the Student Development Office (15th floor).
• Submit your completed application by email ([email protected]) or in person at the office. The deadline is November 8, 2024, by 4:30 PM.

Important Dates:

• Announcement of eligible applicants for interviews: November 12, 2024
• Interview date: November 13, 2024 (Exact time and location to be announced)
• Announcement of scholarship recipients: November 22, 2024

Types of Scholarships:

Scholarships for Academically Outstanding Students with Financial Need

• Number of Scholarships: 10 scholarships, each worth 20,000 Baht (total 200,000 Baht)
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Undergraduate students in their 2nd to 4th year at the Faculty of Communication Innovation, SWU, for the academic year 2567 (2024-2025).
  • Good behavior with no formal reprimands from the faculty or university.
  • Compliance with dress code standards.
  • Family annual income not exceeding 250,000 Baht.
  • Active participation in faculty and university activities with supporting evidence.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75.

Scholarships for Students Involved in Volunteer Work

• Number of Scholarships: 21 scholarships, each worth 20,000 Baht (total 420,000 Baht)
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Undergraduate students in their 2nd to 4th year at the Faculty of Communication Innovation, SWU, for the academic year 2567 (2024-2025).
  • Good behavior with no formal reprimands.
  • Compliance with dress code standards.
  • Active participation in volunteer activities, with supporting evidence.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50.

Conditions for Awarded Students:

1. Active participation in volunteer work, including helping with events such as new student interviews, orientation, and faculty festivals.
2. Submission of work reports detailing activities and volunteer work.
3. Adherence to the faculty and university’s code of conduct and dress regulations.
4. A minimum of 6 hours of work with the faculty or university per week.
5. Repayment of the scholarship if the student discontinues their studies for any reason.

Additional Note:

Failure to comply with the conditions may result in the cancellation of the scholarship.
