NITORI INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION 2024 Academic Year

The NITORI International Scholarship Foundation recognizes the importance of advancing education in Thailand and supporting students who will shape the future of the country. As such, the foundation intends to offer scholarships to students of Srinakharinwirot University (SWU), totaling 6 scholarships, each worth 100,000 THB, for a total of 600,000 THB. This scholarship is designed to ensure the smooth operation of the educational support process.

Required Documents for Scholarship Application:

  1. A student photo (1 photo).
  2. Japanese language proficiency test results.

Selection Process:

The scholarship committee will review applications and interview suitable candidates based on the submitted application forms. The committee will announce the interview schedule, location, and other details.

Announcement of Results:

The Office of Student Affairs will announce the names of the scholarship recipients after the scholarship committee has reviewed the applications. If any student is disqualified from receiving the scholarship for any reason, the student must return the scholarship funds.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Scholarship Application:

  1. Applicants must be undergraduate students who will be in their 3rd or 4th year in the 2024 academic year (Student IDs 65 and 64), from all fields of study, with Japanese proficiency level N3 or higher.
  2. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
  3. Applicants must have Japanese language proficiency, demonstrated by a Japanese language proficiency test score.
  4. Applicants must have good conduct, without violations of university rules or laws.
  5. Applicants must not be receiving any other continuous scholarships, except for student loan funds.

Conditions and Obligations for Scholarship Recipients:

  1. Recipients must cooperate with the university on any matters the university requests during their studies.
  2. Recipients must serve as good examples to other students in all aspects.
  3. If the NITORI International Scholarship Foundation holds a scholarship award ceremony or any activities, recipients must participate without conditions (once per academic year).
  4. Recipients must maintain a GPA of at least 2.50 every semester while receiving the scholarship.
  5. Recipients are not allowed to study abroad during the academic year of receiving the scholarship. If they fail to meet the qualifications or violate any conditions, the university will revoke their scholarship.

Reasons for Revocation of Scholarship Rights:

The scholarship will be revoked if the recipient:

  1. Passes away.
  2. Suspends their studies.
  3. Ceases to be a student.
  4. Loses eligibility or fails to adhere to the conditions and obligations.
  5. Voluntarily relinquishes the scholarship, with written evidence from the recipient.
