The College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University, seeks to select 2nd–4th year undergraduate students facing financial and educational hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic or other related issues to receive scholarships for Academic Year 2020.

Application Process

• Download the application form from the link below or request it at the Student Potential Development Division, 15th Floor (Contact: Wai or Cheetah), College of Social Communication Innovation (Rim Nam Building).
• Submit the completed form by July 21, 2020, 4:30 PM, either by email to [email protected] or in person at the division office.

Interview Schedule

• Between July 17–23, 2020 (exact date, time, and venue will be announced later).

Announcement of Scholarship Recipients

• July 27, 2020 on the college website and notice boards.

Required Documents

• Completed scholarship application form (1 copy)
• One 1-inch student photo (glued or scanned)
• Transcript (certified copy, 1)
• Student ID card copy (certified, 1)
• Student’s ID card copy (certified, 1)
• Parent’s ID card copy (certified, 1)
• Student’s house registration copy (certified, 1)
• Parent’s house registration copy (certified, 1)
• Parent’s income certificate (certified, 1)
• ID of income certifier (certified, 1)
• Proof of financial/educational hardship due to COVID-19 or related issues (certified, if from parents)
• Character reference letter from academic advisor
• Portfolio or evidence of contributions to college/university activities (if any, certified)

Applicant Qualifications

• Must be a 2nd–4th year undergraduate student of the College of Social Communication Innovation.
• Must be facing financial and educational difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic or related issues.
• Must have good conduct and never have been penalized or officially warned by the College or Srinakharinwirot University.
• Must comply with the dress code of the College and University at all times.
• If previously awarded a scholarship from the College or University, must provide evidence of assisting College or University activities.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 as of Semester 2, Academic Year 2019.

Conditions for Selected Scholarship Recipients

• Must willingly dedicate time and volunteer to support lecturers and College departments.
• Scholarship amount: 10,000 THB (ten thousand baht).
• Must consistently serve as a role model in dress and behavior according to College and University regulations.
• Must allocate time to assist College or University activities.
• Students receiving or applying for Student Loan Fund (กยศ.) or Income Contingent Loan (กรอ.) are not eligible for this scholarship.
• If a recipient loses student status, they must repay the full amount unless proven to face severe financial hardship preventing repayment, in which case supporting documents must be submitted for exemption consideration.
